Used Renault Scenic I - To Buy or Not to Buy?

The used Renault Scenic I is built on the chassis of the Renault Megane though it is a lot more spacious inside. The interior provides enough space for 5 persons and the boot is vast enough to fit in everyone’s luggage. The seats and steering wheel provide a high level of adjustment to ensure the maximum of comfort during driving. Electric windows and mirrors, power steering plus air conditioning are a standard. You can choose from the 1. 4 litre, 1. 6 litre and 1. 8 litre petrol engines as well as the 1. 9 litre diesel engine. As in all Renault cars of those times, the used Renault Scenic provides a high level of safety with airbags, ABS and 3-point safety belts, all carefully synchronised for the best protection. The used Renault Scenic is less expensive than its bigger equivalent – Renault Espace and fits nicely in the heavy traffic of jammed city streets. Unfortunately the suspension tends to be noisy and often needs some minor repairs, though the parts are not expensive. Flaws on the electric parts are also quite common. You can save on the petrol if you decide to buy a used Renault Scenic with a LPG system installed, although be sure to check if it' s in a decent condition. The used Renault Scenic I is suitable for a family who require a comfortable and spacious car at a reasonable price.
